I was very excited to work with the Williams for Jamila's maternity session. This was my first time shooting in my new in-home studio with natural and studio lighting. When Jamila and her husband arrived, I showed them to their changing room and then Jamila got a soft glam makeup look done by Ebony. I made sure Jamila had her favorite snacks on hand so she could stay well fed and hydrated! Jamila's hubby enjoyed a cat nap in my living room while the lady of the hour got dolled up. Once her makeup was complete, I assisted Jamila in taking down her beautiful curls.
First, we took a few photos in her first looks in front of the backdrop in my studio.
Her first look was the tan body suit and then she put on her oversized button up.
Then, we moved in front of my studio's window and incorporated her hubby in the photos.

Third, Jamila changed into her thrid look and we captured these in front of the studio's window.
Jamila's maternity portrait package included the use of two maternity gowns from my client closet. She looks absolutely stunning in this Long Tulle Maternity Gown in champagne.
We conclude our session in Jamila's final look during golden hour.
